Later in 1995 he came into contact with Akropolis Marmer in Lelystad, where he started as an account manager and thus gained the necessary knowledge of Greek Marbles.
In 1997 he started at Brachot Hermant in Zeewolde as an account manager where he was ultimately depot manager until 2006 and gained enormous knowledge about natural stone.“I always thought it was great to spend hours in the warehouse in Belgium and Houyet looking for plates for depot and looking for orders for customers to meet the requirements of specific customers”. In 2006 I eventually started for myself as an independent agent with my own stock. In 2008 I decided to sell my stock to Bunnik Creations and work for this company exclusively as an agent with success. In 2013 the contract was broken and I decided to continue for myself.
At the moment we still sell enormous numbers of containers on an agency basis and we have a storage warehouse where we can stock 40 containers, even for customers who have no storage options. We unload all containers on the ground with side loaders and crates are cleaned before they are stored in the warehouse.
90% of turnover consists of container trade direct to customers, delivered from the port on invoice, from country of origin in euros, including sea freight and transport.
The advantage of this is that customers can focus on sales instead of hassle with documents and customs clearance. We have daily contact with the producers and can switch much faster.
A lot of time is lost with F.O.B deliveries because this never fits well with bookings of sea freight and late receipt of payments.
With us you only pay when everything is loaded and on its way.
The stock is more intended to keep control over the packaging and quality, but also to promote new products that we see in addition to the range of natural stone companies that are also increasingly selling ceramic products.
